This picture is taken at the Ohio River. The purple people bridge pictured behind them is the pedestrian bridge that crosses Kentucky with Ohio. We had a history lesson about how KY was slave and OH was free. Our Adventures in Odyssey helped make this area really come to life for us. It was terrific to see it first hand and walk over the bridge.
This second picture is of the Newport OH Aquarium. One of the MANY jellyfish exhibits. It reminded me of Romeo and Juliet (With Claire Danes and Leo Dicaprio) when they have an aquarium separating rooms. It was neat to see the jellies float thru and be able to see your kids watching on the other side. Very hard to get a good picture, the room was dark so the tanks could be illuminated.
